On November 27th, the Association of Women in Engineering, Science and Technology - AFIST, celebrated 3 years since it’s given support to women working in STEM, 3 years since it’s started the mentoring program through which tens of young girls who want a career in science/technology have been guided! One of the mentors whose merits have been recognized was our colleague, dr. Ana Caramete, who also received the high distinction of honorific member of AFIST! And so happened that, during the anniversary event that took place in the ballroom of Camera de Comerț și Industrie București, the work and efforts of our our colleague have been applauded not only by other women in science and UNESCO representatives, but especially by the early careers who found the strength to make themselves heard because of Ana.
