A limited number of grants is available to support the participation of young Ph.D. students and postdoctoral scientists interested in the analysis and understanding of solar system plasma turbulence, intermittency and multifractals. The interested candidates should submit a funding application. After submission of the application form please also send your Curriculum Vitae by e-mail to storm2015 @ spacescience.ro. All the applicants are invited to submit a poster contribution.
The grant will cover the registration fee (that includes coffee breaks, lunches, social events) and the accommodation at IAKI hotel (with breakfast included). Due to the limited funding available and in order to maximize the number of accepted applications, the students will be accomodated in twin double rooms. The funded applicants should arrange on their own the transport to the workshop.
Whatever the decision, all the aplicants for funding will be officialy notified by e-mail before 01 AUG 2015. The Scientific and Local Organizing Committees will make efforts to support as many applicants as possible. The European Commission (through the FP7 project STORM), the Office of Naval Research (Global), the European Geosciences Union, the European Space Agency, the International Association of Geomagnetism and Aeronomy and the Romanian National Authority for Scientific Research and Innovation are the main sponsors of the event.
