Researchers' Night - 2019 edition
26 Sep 2019 by Gina IsarThe brightest ideas of Romanian researchers will be brought closer to the public of all ages on Friday, September 27, 2019 (between 17:00 and 22:00), and on Saturday, September 28, 2019 (between 12:00 and 20:00 ) at the Researchers' Night 2019, an event that will take place in the Children's World Park (entrance from the Children's Palace) in Bucharest, but also in other 25 cities in Romania.

Sci-Fi FEST - 2019 edition
13 Nov 2019 by Gina IsarISS was also present at the 4th edition of the Science Fiction Fest, organized by the team of Science & Technology magazine on September 14, 2019 at ParkLake Shopping Center Bucharest. The PERSPECTRUM installation, a fusion of Art and Science, attracted dozens of visitors interested in hearing the cosmic sound from atmospheric sheaves of cosmic rays and seeing the projection of an image printed by 3D lithography to the size of a needle tip through a laser microscope.

Different like school at ISS - 2018 edition
2 Apr 2018 by Gina IsarIn the week of March 26-30, 2018, the “Different like school” took place at the ISS, where a team of young enthusiastic researchers fascinated visitors with fundamental scientific notions, mini-experiments and space explorations, even in a very attractive virtual reality environment. Over 400 students from the preparatory, primary and secondary classes, accompanied by teachers and parents, from Măgurele, Bucharest and Ploiești, crossed our threshold in our laboratories within the National Program “Different like school: to know more, to be better".

Science Week at Bucharest - 2017 edition
29 Sep 2017 by Gina IsarStarting today, September 29, 2017, in Bucharest will take place several events to popularize science to the general public, such as:
• Researchers' Night at the National Museum of Geology, September 29, from 15:00;
• Sci + Fi Fest at the National Library of Romania in Bucharest, September 30 (17:00) - October 1 (11:00).
Together with researchers from the Institute of Space Sciences it will be possible to make diurnal and nocturnal astronomical observations and will find out more about scientific research projects: Pierre Auger Observatory (Argentina) and ALICE-LHC-CERN (Switzerland).-

From kindergarten, elementary, middle school and high school students, accompanied by educators, teachers, parents or grandparents, learned a little about the research activities carried out at the Institute of Space Sciences - ISS, about the Solar System and the Universe in general, the structure of matter and the life of an astronaut in outer space on the International Space Station.

Science Week at Bucharest - 2016 edition

• Bucharest Science Festival, September 27 - October 2;
• Sci + Fi Fest, National Library of Romania in Bucharest, September 30 - October 1;
• Researchers' Night, University of Bucharest Square, September 30.
These events come in order to raise awareness of Science and Technology, with application in various fields of Research - Development and Innovation, where researchers from the Institute of Space Sciences, along with other Romanian researchers in various fields, will share contributions with the large public.
