ANTARES – Astronomy with a Neutrino Telescope and Abyss Environmental RESearch

The ANTARES experiment consists of a large water Cherenkov detector deep in the Mediteranean See, optimized for the detection of upward-going muons as a signature of muon-HEA neutrino interaction in the matter below the detector.
